To be fed with high-quality, free-choice grass hay or pasture. Animals should consume this product at a rate of 0.5% of body weight (see table on next page).
Should hay or pasture quality diminish, transition animals to Mazuri® Alpaca Care. For fiber-producing or show animals, choose Mazuri® Alpaca Performance. For additional energy intake, choose Mazuri® Alpaca Complete Life.
Nutrition needs will vary with environmental temperatures, body condition, and level of activity; consult a nutritionist or veterinarian for guidance for individual animal needs. Always provide animal with plenty of fresh, clean water.
Caution - Follow label directions: Feeding added selenium at levels in excess of 0.3ppm in the total diet is prohibited.
DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP - DUE TO HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF SUPPLEMENTAL COPPER.
Storage Conditions
For best results, store contents of open paper sack in container with sealing lid. Store in a cool (75°F or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location. Freezing will not harm the diet and may extend freshness. Use within 1 year of bag manufacturing.
